Title: Identity
Posted on: Wednesday, March 27, 20138:50 PM

Feeling like Maxine Kingston in Woman Warrior now, trying to search for my identity. Trying to fit into two societies, struggling to find my place in between. Not sure what defines me when I'm neither here nor there. Maybe I'm like the guy in Battle Royal, and just like him I'll be "invisible", where nothing defines me and all that matters is myself.

Well the good thing is I'll be able to write my lit essays on 'Individual VS Society' so much better now. Who knew I was a real life example all along... Don't tell me I'll have to be like Boey Kim Cheng and immigrate to Australia... Hey doesn't sound like such a bad idea after all ;)
